For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to get a henna tattoo. Unlike permanent tattoos which can never be removed, henna tattoos last no longer than a month and you get the luxury of changing the deigns as you see fit. One of the most popular places for tourists to get henna tattoos in Marrakesh is the Jemaa el-Fnaa square where you will find dozens of woman waiting with syringes filled with ink looking for new costumers. Unfortunately however tourists get charged exorbitantly for the designs and some of the traders can be quite pushy in trying to persuade customers get a tattoo. Luckily we came across a young lady on on of our excursions to the square who charged us a reasonable price of my half arm tattoo. I was quite pleased with my design and can’t wait to find someone in London that can cover my whole back in intricate henna design.
