ABOUT US

MODE: A fashion or style in clothes, art, literature, etc

MODE Observer is  an online magazine  and store founded by Musu Kaikai to showcase the best fashion, art and beauty from all over the world. The overarching aim is to create a hub to satisfy the interests and needs of fashion enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

Musu Kaikai is the Editor-in-chief of MODE OBSERVER. A self-confessed introvert, Musu also describes herself as observant and outspoken.  For the last eight years Musu has managed PR and marketing for Madam Wokie, one of Sierra Leone's leading fashion designers, and played a key role transforming the brand into a thriving business. Having witnessed the steady growth of the African fashion industry in the last decade, Musu is keen to play her role in taking African fashion; particularly Sierra Leonean fashion, to the global arena.

"I have always had keen interest in fashion, travel, story telling and art. I also love to eat, sleep and socialise. In the last few years I have enjoyed assisting small and medium enterprises grow into successful businesses, which has inspired the creation of MODE OBSERVER, a website that tells the story of brands, individual and places from my lens, and most importantly the subjects perspective.  I hope you have a great time browsing my website and exploring what excites me".- Musu Kaikai
