100 Women Nigieria is a nonprofit organisation that improves, empowers and educates women in Africa to reach their highest potential in business, home and their personal lives. It is an arm of the BRYNE Foundation (Bringing-up Resilient Young Nigeria Entrepreneurs) which delivers training, develops tools and connects women to accelerate their ability to make a change in their communities, thus enabling communities to reap the transformational benefits of entrepreneurial participation. The BRYNE Foundation also supports women with access to finance, markets, mentorship programs, networks and capacity development.
The 100 Women West Africa list features 100 women from diverse backgrounds and sectors who are making impact in the world and their local communities with the power and strength of their ideas and achievements. It includes women making their mark in politics, business, philanthropy, technology and finance, by creating solutions for some of the world’s biggest problems and leaving lasting legacies along the way.
Mary-Ann Kaikai, Creative Director of Madam wokie was listed in the 100 Women West Africa list 2019 for her contribution to the fashion and creative industry in Sierra Leone.
