Madam Wokie to present at the Commonwealth Fashion Council Reception, 20/2/2018


On 20 February 2018, Sierra Leonean fashion house, Madam Wokie, will be participating in Commonwealth Fashion Councilexhibition and reception on 'Celebrating Commonwealth Fashion' at the New Zealand High Commission London. The event is part of the Commonwealth Fashion Council series of events celebrating fashion in the Commonwealth in the lead up to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in April 2018, and aims at fostering development and partnership between Commonwealth counties. The Commonwealth Fashion Council (CFC) is a not-­‐for-­‐profit, Commonwealth-­‐accredited organisation. The CFC works to support and advocate sustainable development, education, youth and gender empowerment in the current and emerging fashion industries within the 53 member Nations of the Commonwealth.
