Spring is finally here and I am so happy I can finally let me Afro, legs and toes out. This spring/summer I plan to wear my natural hair out more, especially since it has grown quite long. It has been six years since I transitioned from permed to natural hair and maintenance can be quite tricky as I haven’t really learnt how to take care of it myself and always rely on my sister Wokie to wash and style it for me. Speaking of Wokie, she is off to Sierra Leone for Easter which means in a few weeks time I will have new Madam Wokie pieces to add to my wardrobe. In this post I am wearing a mixed print kimono from the Madam Wokie Spring/Summer 2017 Collection. New pieces will be available for purchase in the UK and worldwide soon.
