Sri Lanka is by far one of the most enchanting countries I have ever been to.
Every street, every community, every few meters you turn, you are bound to find a temple; be it an a Hindu, Buddhist or Christian Temple.
During a trip to Colombo in 2015, I visited the Gangaramaya Temple on Sri Jinarathana Road. The Gangaramaya Temple is one of the most important temples in Colombo. The temple’s architecture showcases a fusion of Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian, and Chinese architecture. Not only is it a beautiful place for worship and meditation, it also contains a mini museum filled with historical Buddhist artefacts.
