Review: Shea and More Moisturising Black Soap

About a year ago my sister Maryann introduced me to one of Sierra Leone's best beauty products, Shea and More Moisturising Black Soap. I had just come back from the Bahamas and parts of my skin were sunburnt.

About a month after I started using Shea and More Moisturising Black Soap I noticed that my skin was smoother, my complexion was more even, my pimples and blackheads had disappeared, and my skin was glowing.

Shea and More Moisturising Black Soap is made from natural ingredients and essential oils. There are several types including:

  • Honey and milk

  • Honey and oat

  • Lemon and moringa, and

  • Lemon and honey extreme

My favourite is the honey and milk black soap as it had a light fragrance and is quite mild on the skin. I am yet to try the lemon and moringa, and the lemon and honey extreme soap, but you will get an updated review as soon as I do.

Shea and More Moisturising Black Soap comes in a medium sized container with a generous portion of soap. It also costs Le50,000, making it accessible and long lasting.

You can purchase Shea and More Moisturising Black Soap in Freetown, Sierra Leone at:

  • Saceway Pharmacy, Aberdeen Road

  • Beauty Star, Siaka Stevens Street

  • Monoprix supermarket, and

  • Foodland Supermarket
